So Friday was the 2nd time I came here. Had a much better experience. Had afterwork drinks at the bar with my friends. The bartender, Summer was very attentive and helpful when it came to the drink choices. Food was very good. Looking to try some different dishes next time.

This place was lit!!! We had to pay $20 for valet parking. Guys had to pay $20 to enter. Women free! The DJ was rocking from old school to new school, reggae to reggaeton which set the tone for a great night!! The waitress was very friendly and down to earth she even sang along to a song we were singing at the table. Lol. The food was good! I ordered smothered pork chops they weren't that tender but seasoned well. Bill came out to $300 for 4 people plus drinks. Hope this helps..

I don't see what the fuss is. My friends and I had a really enjoyable time. We had a party of 15; had no issues being seated or being charged to get in. For $40 ($10 for valet if you drive) you get bottomless mimosas and/or sangria and a nice spread of buffet style "soul food", made to order waffles and omelettes as well. Food was fresh and replenished fast too. Around 2pm a DJ came and played a well selected mix of music which really made the atmosphere even better. Upstairs is where all of the fun is so I recommend to arrive early so you can get a decent seat; I did see people still arriving at 3pm which to me defeated the purpose but oh well. My only complaints are: 1.) They should have more servers. Our server Milan was trying to juggle a whole section of people which included her bussing tables, retrieving drinks and seating people. It was a lot for one person. She was nice though and did her best. 2.) Some people did bring children; infants and up. I just feel that with adults drinking and partying from 12-5 and people ARE NOT searched for weapons etc that this is not the place for children but to each is own. Bring extra money because there is a cash bar(pricey). There's NO street parking so you will pay $10 to park or $5 if you're decent to split it with the person who drove you lol. They do start promptly at 12 with the food, drinks and music. Arrive early to avoid having to wait for the made to order items. Overall, we definitely plan to return here. I enjoyed myself with my friends and the other patrons were nice and friendly as well.

Came here on a Monday night with my family for my mother's birthday. When we arrived, a valet parked our car and we went inside and were slightly confused about how to get into the actual restaurant until an employee came downstairs and directed us. We were seated right away as there were only a few other groups there. We were given a basket with cornbread and a few biscuits and I wasn't a fan of either as they were dry. I ordered the Jumbo hot wings, tostones and spanish rice with gandules. Everything was delicious and filling. I could barely finish my entire meal. I also ordered a frozen mojito which tasted more like lime than anything else, but it tasted pretty good and was just strong enough. The waiter, whose name I unfortunately didn't hear, gave excellent service and checked on us often. I enjoyed the music which was throwback R&B and Hip Hop and some recent R&B and Hip Hop. Would definitely come here again.
